Enthusiastic Territorials
MORE FEILDING RECRUITS The initial enthusiasm displayed by the Territorials of the town of Feilding has been maintained and last eveiling the first parade was Held since the large body was attested recently. The platoon mustered at full strength under the command of Staff Sergeant-Major J. Ryan, N.Z.P.S., iu the Drill Hall, and they were issued with their new uniforms and complete equipment. The attendance was most satisfactory and another pleasing feature was that an additional nine men came forward to offer their services and were duly attested. When the issue of the uniforms had been completed the men were given instruction in the manner in which they were to be worn and in other matters relating to the Territorial Army. Feilding has reason to feel proud that the total number of men who have volunteered for service with the Territorials has now reached the splendid figure of 80. The officers for the new unit have not yet been selected.
