Manawatu Savage Club

The korero of the Manawatu Savage Club was held on Saturday evening, when, despite the weather, the attendance of Savages was large. In the absence of tho Chiex .Savage (Mr. J. Garde Grimshaw) Rangitira L. Wood installed Savage Fergusson in the chair, with the usual honours. The following contributed items, which were much appreciated:—Earl Andrews, songs; Savages J. Hornblow, recitation; Johnson (Oroua Hapu), songs; Hornblow and Pickett, picture without words; Levy (Oroua Hapu), songs; J. Pickett, songs; Wood, Brown and MeLachlan, “ What Will They Call Mo”; Greening, song.

An item by the Savage Orchestra concluded the programme.
