To-day’s Recipe

CURRIED RABBIT One rabbit, 2 tablespoons flour, $ tablespoon salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons dripping, 2 onions (chopped), 2 tablespoons curry powder, 1 apple (chopped), 1 tablespoon currants, 2 tablespoons vinegar. Wipe the rabbit with a damp cloth, dismember and roll in seasoned flour. Heat dripping in pan; add onions. When slightly brown, remove and add meat. Brown and place in a saucepan. Sprinkle over the curry powder, apple, currants, vinegar and the salted onions. Almost cover with stock or water and simmer for 1J to 2 hours, or until tender. Just before serving add the juice of half a lemon. Serve with boiled rice.
