Situation Easier at Tientsin
NO INTENTION OF TIGHTENING BLOCKADE (British Official Wireless.) Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, July 1. It is reported from Tientsin that th# situation there is easier and the Japanese military spokesman is cited a* denying the reported intention to tighten the restrictions —a step which he considered unlikely during the Tokio negotiations which may open shortly. Local advisers who are to participate on both sides in the discussions between tho Japanese Foreign Alinister and the British Ambassador are stated to bt on their way to Tokio.
