Week’s Battle in Peking Area
TWO RAILWAY WRECKS RECORDED United Tress Association—By Electric Telegraph-—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7.20 p.m. PEKING, July f. Twenty-five thousand men were stated to be involved in a week-long battle between Japanese regulars and Chinese guerillas east of Tinghsion on the Kinghan railway, Streams of Japanese wounded are pouring back from the battle line. The guerillas are busy on the railway lines in the Peking area. Travellers state that there were two wrecks last week.
