Hit-and-run Accident at Inglewood
TWO GIRLS INJURED NEW PLYMOUTH, July 2. Struck by a car as they stepped from the footpath two girls, aged about 14, were thrown into the gutter aud injured in the Main Street of Inglewood on Saturday evening. The motorist did not stop. He was pursued by a constable for some distance but disappeared in the direction of New Plymouth. The victims were Aliss Annie Kukliuski (a broken collarbone) and Miss O’Byerno (shock.)
