James Langridge, playing for Sussetf against Derby in the County cricket series, took fixe wickets from 11 balls without a run being scored. Results were:— Sussex v. Derby: Sussex, first Innings 258 (Bartlett 93, Copson 6 for 64), second 147 (Mitchell 4 for 45). Derby, first innings, 198 (Smith 81, Duffield 5 for 38); second 194 (Worthington 119, James Langridge 5 for 3). Sussex won by 13 runs. Lancashire v. Glamorgan: Lancashire, first innings, 249, second 291 for nine wickets declared (Paynter 140); Glamorgan, first innings 268 (Wooller 67), second innings 191 for five wickets (Wooller 68). Glamorgan won on the first innings. Yorkshire v. Gloucester: Yorkshire, first innings 176 (Goddard 6 for 61); second innings 105 (Goddard 7 for 38); Bloucester, first innings, 168 (Verity 7 for 47); second innings 114 for three wickets. Gloucester won by seven wickets. Essex v. Hampshire: Essex, first innings 181 (Boyes 6 for 45); second innings 241 for nine wickets declared’ Hampshire, first innings 229, second innings 156 (P. Smith 5 for 38). Essex won by 37 runs. Kent v.
