Fanners’ Union Activities

FEILDING BRANCH MEETING The committee of the Feilding branch of the Farmers’ Union met ycsteiday morning, Air. H. D. Richardson (president) presiding. There were also present, Messrs. H. A. Stewart, D. L. Younger, A. L. Drown, V. B. Short and L. S. Knight. Air. Younger reported on the recent inter-provincial conference and stated that the gathering was most successful. The meeting carried a vote of thanks to the delegates for their work. Satisfaction was expressed at the formation of bobby calf pools in the district. It was agreed to make a donation towards the cost of the recent presentation to Mr. J. E. Lloyd Hammond and also to make a donation to the lioys and Girls Agricultural Club movement.
