A series of westerly depressions continues to cross the Dominion, the centres of the individual disturbances being all located to the south. Winds: Between north-west and west predominating, but temporary changes to southwesterly probable in western districts and the south; force moderate in the soutnern half of tho South Island, other moderate to strong and reaching gale force at times in the central portion of the country. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rough on the west coast and slight to moderate on the east. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong winds from between north-west and soutliM r est and rough seas. Weather: Continuing changeable and showery in western districts and the south M'ith some snow probable on the ranges of the South Island. Mainly fair east of the ranges, but with occasional isolated showers. Temperatures: Becoming cooler, but no major cold change probable. YESTERDAY’S WEATHER Auckland: Cloudy, moderate Mind. Hamilton: Rain, moderate M'ind. New Plymouth: Overcast, moderatewind. Gisborne: Sun and cloud, light M'ind. Napier: Sun and cloud, strong wind Palmerston North: Overcast, light wind. Masterton: Showers, moderate wind Wellington: Overcast, strong wind. Blenheim; Showers, moderate wind. Nelson: Overcast, moderate M'ind. West Coast: Showers, wind of gale force.
