DE FACTO RECOGNITION BY BRITAIN IMPLIED (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 19. In announcing in the House of Commons to-day in answer to a question that the British Ambassador in Berlin was applying for exequatur (official recognition) for the Consul-General in Prague, the Foreign Under-Secretary, Mr. R. A. Butler, stated that while in the British Government’s opinion this step implied de facto recognition of the present position in Bohemia and Moravia, it did not involve any modification of the views already expressed by Britain on the question.
