Miss M. Morgan, of Woodlands Road, is visiting Mrs. and Mr. C. J. Popps, Marton. Mr. J. Elder, of Wellington, a former Mayor of Woodville, and Mrs. Elder were visitors to Woodville on Tuesday. The Hon. P. C. Webb, Minister of Labour, visited Woodville on Tuesday afternoon in connection with the business of bis portfolio. Mr. and Mrs. A, C. J. Calver, of Wanganui, have been spending a few days with Mrs. Calver's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Walker, Ormond Street. They are returning home to-day and Mrs. Walker will accompany them. Among the guests for the Culver— Walker wedding earlier this month were Mr. and Mrs. M. Ford and Mr. N. Ford, Mr. and Mrs. Band, Mr. and Mrs. Val Jones, Miss Doreen Dickerson and Mr. I. Coombs all of Wellington. Prom Palmerston North came Mrs. A. Mumford, Mr. and Mrs. Alltree, Mr. P. Vianing, Mr. and Mrs. G. Love. Wanganui visitors included Mr. and Mrs. H. Dewe and party, and Mrs. Watson. Mrs. Dewe and others came from Dannevirke and Mr. P. Ford from Otane.
