On Saturday a match was played with Kimbolton and resulted in Kimbolton winning six singles and four i'ourballs, and Raumai five singles and one fourball. Detailed results axe as follows:—Singles: R. Smart lost to T. Henshaw, H. i>itz* Herbert lost to M. Hocking, J. MacDonald lost to D. Ross, D. Balmer beat P. Keith, G. Bailey lost to L. Walker, W. Smart beat T. French, C. Spelman lost to RRichardson, R. MacDonald lost to S. D’Ath, A. MacDonald beat F. Ross, I. Neill beat C. Clapham, B. Clapham halved with W. Clapham, D'. Fleury beat K. Hair Fourball: Smart and Fitzherbert lost "to Henshaw and Hocking, I. MacDonald and D. Balmer lost to Ross and Keith, G. Bailey and W. Smart lost to Walker and French, C. Spelman and R. AlacDonald lost to Richardson and D'Ath, A. MacDonald and Neill halved with Ross and Clapham, Clapham and Fleury beat Clapham and Hair. Alatches have been arranged with Woodville on June 25 and Palmerston North Club on July 2. Last week-end a medal round was played for a trophy of balls donated by Air. Bruce. This was won by R. MacDonald with a nett score of 70, G. Bailey 71, H. Smart 73, D. Balmer 73.
