Salvation Army Home League

SPECIAL WEEK-END MEETINGS A large number of women were addressed afternoon by Adjutant E. Christopher, of Waipukurau, in connection with special Home League meetings conducted by the Salvation Army. The adjutant’s topic was "Getting ou Each Other’s Nerves,” and she was accorded a vote of thanks. Mrs. (Captain) L. H. Jones presided. A stall containing serviceable goods was in tha charge of Mesdames A. E. Richards and Meekin. Vocal items were contributed by Mrs. F. L. Richards, Adjutant Christopher and Mrs. Adjutant Hanford (Pahiatua), and Adjutant Christopher conducted a series of successful meetings on Sunday.
