Posted on the Royal Train

A letter which was posted on the royal train in Canada when it was taking their Majesties on their recent tour has been received by a Hukanui resident. The letter, which was posted on May 15, bears three stamps, of one cent, two cents and three cents. The one-cent stamp displays the portraits of Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Hose and the three-cent stamp bears the portraits of the King and Queen. The twocent stamp is a picture of the Canadian war memorial, which his Majesty recently unveiled at Ottawa.
