Feilding Borough Affairs
MEETING OF THE COUNCIL The Feilding Borough Council met last evening, the Alayor (Mr. T. L. Seddon) presiding. There were also present Crs. A. C. Buist, W. W. Andrews, P. B. Desmond, A. J. Humphreys, V. E. Smith, C. B. McClure, P. G. Guy and A. C. McCorkindale. The Department of Internal Affairs forwarded a copy of the Gazette containing the notice regarding the adjustment of the borough boundaries in accordance with the findings of the recent commission dealing with the petition of certain ratepayers for exclusion from the borough. The notification was received. Accounts amounting to £225 12s 3d were passed for payment and accounts amounting to £1216 18s paid since tfhe last meeting were confirmed. Formal resolutions confirming the rates to be levied for the current year were passed.
