Fatal Tackle at Rugby
WHANG AREI, Last Night. Arthur Stanley Jones, single, aged 21, of Okaihau, died when being taken by car to the Kawakawa Hospital after an injury at a football match. He was tackled and thrown heavily while running with the ball. A post-mortem examination showed that he had fractured the spinal cord.
