Moral Rearmament Anniversary

NOTED BRITISH PARTICIPANTS Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Further reports of Trans-Atlantic radiophone greetings on the occasion of the first anniversary of moral rearmament have been received by the Oxford Group in New Zealand. The following message was sent by the chairman, four past chairmen and two past presidents of the Trade Union Congress and other delegates of the Labour Party conference: “We rejoice to see the ideal of moral rearmament taking hold of the United States. We strongly believe such co-operation between the United States and Britain can go far towards securing world peace and economic security.”

Mr. Anthony Eden joined the British members of Parliament in sending a message. Congratulations were also extended by 23 peers, many leaders of commerce, the president of the Rotary movement, and the Director-General of Film Distributors.
