From Our Own Correspondent. Personal Air. C. Croad is spending a holiday in Auckland. The friends of Air. and Mrs. W. Pond, of Poplar Road, will regret to hear of fhe accident which overtook their son, Mr. A. Pond, on Monday evening. He was attacked by a pig and suffered severe gashes to the thigh and leg, and had to be admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital. Air. A. E. White and his son, Air. W. White, of Wellington, have returned from a tour of the North Island. Mrs. O. Christensen and her small son have returned horn a from Palmerston North. Air. and Airs. Clark, of Lower HCtt, were recent visitors to Air. and Airs. J. Percy.
