Le Quesnoy Ceremony

N.Z. FLAG PRESENTED United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, May 12. The Lille . correspondent of The Times states that, in the presence of political and military dignitaries, the High Commissioner of New Zealand, Mr. W. J. Jordan, when en route to Geneva, presented the town of Le Quesnoy, which the New Zealanders captured in 1918, with a New Zealand flag and the pennant of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade. A military review followed, after which wreaths were laid on a monument which commemorates 93 New Zealand officers and men in the garden of remembrance.
