Japaneso marines entered the International ■ Settlement treaty port of Amoy after shooting the Chinese chairman of the Chamber of Commerce. The situation is most tense. NINE DIVISIONS ROUTED TOTALLING 150,000 MEN TOKIO, May 11. A field despatch reports that nine Chinese divisions totalling 150,000, were routed in north-west Hankow, many members of the staff surrendering after the encirclement of General Tang Po3' headquarters. Elsewhere Japanese are carrying on an offonsivo forty-four miles northwest of Siangyang; a second force is pushing westward from Sinyang; a third northward along the Han River; and a fourth is hitherto held in reserve and is advancing from Anlu in Central Hupeh.
