Tangimoana
From Our Own Correspondent. The weather is most unfavourable for holidaying at the beach. Monday was a perfect day, but since then a boisterous wind has made conditions unpleasant. The local duck shooters are experiencing beler luck than they did last season, although no exceptional bags have been taken so far. Personal Mr. and Mrs. F. Edmunds, of Inglewood, spent the week-end with Mrs. Edmund’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. .Scott, and left during the week to spend the remainder of their vactioji in Chris lMr. and Mrs. John liuuler and Misa Merle Hunter, of Marton, are staying at their beach house for a week or two. Miss M. K. Gould and her father, Air. A. J. Gould, have returned home from a visit to relatives in the north. Misses Joan and Helen Penney aftd their brother John, of Feilding, are spending a holiday with their grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Penney. Miss Valma Carkeek is spending the school vacation with friends in Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Meads and family, of Kiwitea, are staying with Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Stuart. Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Still, of Kimbolton, have taken Mrs. Robson’s beach house for a fortnight. Mrs. L. Dryden and family, of Palmerston North, are spending the fh'st week of the school vacation at Tangimoana. Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Kyle and family, of Palmerston North, are out at their beal’i cottage for the May holidays. Mrs. M. Wildbore and her daughter.-, Xgaire, Nada and Barbara, intend spendling the school holidays at their beach Mr. and Mrs. Landers and their two small children have taken Mrs. Larson’s house for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs W. H. Llittna, of Marton, and former residents of Tangimoana, are spending a holiday here. Among the week-end visitors to the beach were Mr. and Mrs. George Whittaker, Miss Dorothy Whittaker and Mr. Jack Whittaker, Mr. and Mrs. J. Warner and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. Nant and Miss Margaret Nant, Mr. and Mrs. ii. Duckett, Mr. A. Fergusson and Mr. W. Mochan, Mr. F. W. Curtis, all of Palmerston North; Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Clark, Kairanga; Mr. and Mrs. J. Smith and family, Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. E. Egdell and their small daughter Rose, of Otaki, are staying with Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Scott. Rev. N. Barnet, Anglican minister of Bulls, conducted a Holy Communion service for his local parishioners on Sunday
