A country that will be well represented at the triennial conference of the Associated Country Women of the World, to be held in London in June, is Scotland, states a London correspondent, writing on April 20. There will be a large contingent of rural Scottish women delegates and an even larger contingent of delegates from various parts of the Empire of Scottish descent. The New Zealand delegation will also include several women of Scottish descent. “It is almost certain that most of these delegates will want to look up their family links in Scotland while they are over there, and we are hoping that Scottish members of the association may be able to help them,” stated an official. Among those who will lead the Scottish delegation will bo the Countess of Elgin, and Airs. Anstruther Gray, president of the Scottish Women’s Rural Institutes. Tho largest delegation is being sent by the United States, and it is believed that there will be many women in this group of 300 whose forbears also were Scottish.
