PERSONAL
Miss Cecily Gunter, Gisborne, is spending the term holidays with her parents, Air. and Airs. H. E. Gunter, Church Street.
A vote of sympathy with Mrs. J. Pedersen, in the death of her husband, was carried by fellow members of Cuba Street Church Ladies' Guild in the usual way at their meeting yesterday.
Regret was expressed in the absence of Airs. J. A. Wilkinson, Elmira Avenue, who was to have been a guest at Cuba Street Alethodist Ladies' Guild meeting yesterday and good wishes extended for her speedy recovery from an accident suffered yesterday resulting in an injury to a foot. Mrs. A. E. Fisher, president, said Cuba Street Church had a v#ry special interest in Airs. Wilkinson, whose daughter, Mrs. G. G. Hancox, now of Alastcrton, had been their leader and fellow member for such a long period.
