Gland Injection. In view of the increase in animal gland injection treatment for Soccer footballers, and possible medical reactions, critics urge the English Football Association to appoint a commission to inquire into the subject. They point out that while the Portsmouth and Wolverhampton Clubs supervise the treatment which their players undergo voluntarily, there is a danger of “doping” being misused. Players ought to have the right to refuse treatment to which doctors might object.
