Steamer Sails With Eight of Crew Missing

GERMAN VESSEL BOUND FOE SYDNEY Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Unable to wait for eight missing members of her crew, the HamburgAmerika steamer Dortmund left Auckland shortly after 8.30 this morning for Sydney. Tho Dortmund was ready for sea on Thursday night when 12 of her complement of 48 were absent. Four returned at a late hour and the Dortmund moved to an anchorage in the stream to await the remainder. She will return to New Zealand next month to load wool for Germany and the Continent, after the longest stay in port since she left England in February. The Shaw, Savill and Albion motorliner Dominion Monarch will leave Auckland to-morrow morning lor Napier roadstead to continue loading produce for Britain.
