Lack of Rain Affects Feilding Sale Prices

TOO MANY FAT WETHERS The opinion was fairly* freely expressed at the Feilding sale yesterday that the prevailing dry weather was responsible for the smaller yarding and lower prices ruling in some sections. In the store offering the quality was certainly not up to standard and the prices varied accordingly. The fat sheep values were, however, quite good, but in general there was a noticeable lack of purchasing power. Fat wethers were down by 2s and they were in oversupply. Fat ewes were on a par with previous offerings. The beef section was showing little variation on prevailing values.
