Supplementary to Empire Flying-boats LINK WITH NEW ZEALAND Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Two members of the British Air Mission that is in New Zealand, Sir Donald Banks and Sir Arthur Longmore, paid an unofficial visit to New Plymouth, where they mspectod the municipal airport. They were eu route from Auckland to Wellington in a Vega Gull piloted by Wing-Commander Grundy. Though they expressed the view that flving-boats wero likely to be used for some years on Empire services, they remarked that fast, long-range landptanes being built opened up possibilities which would have to be considered, perhaps in the way of supplementary express services if the expense were u arrunted.
