There was a large attendance at the danco held by the. Ivia Toa Football Club in the Empire,Hall, on Saturday night, when the visiting Pirates teams from Napier, Wellington and Wanganui were entertained. The ceiling was decorated in black and white, the visitors ’ colours, and the walls in the. light and dark blue of Kia Toa. The committee, under the direction of. the secretary (Mr. L. Cowling), were responsible for the arrangements, Messrs. L. Heatley and T. Doherty acting as M.C’s.
