From Our Own Correspondent. Young Farmers’ Club. The March meeting took the form of a social evening, being the first of its kind to beheld by the club. There was a large attendance of members and friends.At the discussion of club business held prior to the social side of the evening, it was de tided that £1 be donated to the member
securing the greatest number of new enrolments at the annual meeting in April. Mr B. Levy, assisted by Mr T. S. Robinson. gave an interesting address, illustrated with lantern slides, on overseas farming compared with that of New Zealand A number of vocal and Instrumental items contributed by members and friends, wer< appreciated. Novelty dances and comraun ity singing continued until a late hour, when Mr Nielson proposed a vote o! thanks to all who bad contributed to the success of the evening.
