Fine; Winds Decreasing Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An extensive and rather intense anti cyclone covers the Tasman and extends on to the Dominion. Winds: South-west to south-east, strong at first in some exposed positions, but soon decreasing and otherwise light to moderate. A change to northerlies probable to-morrow over the southern half of the South Island.

Seas (New Zealand w r aters): Rather rough at first on parts of the East Coast, south of East £apo and about Cook and Foveaux Straits, but decreasing. Elsewhere slight to moderate. Eastern Tasman: Light to moderate southerly to south-easterly winds, turning to west and north-west later in the southern portion. Seas slight to moderate. Weather: Fair to fine.
