Australian Militia Over 70,000
United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 4. The Minister of External Affairs, Mr. W. M. Hughes, announced that the strength of the militia was 70,691 and there were still several thousands on the waiting list. The enlistment scheme is to be continued until about 80,009 men have been secured.
