GERMANY NOT GOING TO WAIT
Not Being Encircled By Unbreakable Net VIGOROUS DECLARATION United Press Association.—-By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 5.5 p.m. BERLIN, April 4. The Official News Agency says Germany can only draw one conclusion from Mr. Chamberlain’s statement, namely: England is throwing all her resources into a policy of encirclement against Germany’s vital Continental interests. It adds: “The Fuhrer’s speech apparently has not been understood by the British Government. Therefore, we must vigorously re-emphasise that Germany has no intention of waiting until the encirclement net is closed and has become unbreakable.
GEE MANY’S POLICY OP WAIT AND SEE EXTENT OF BRITISH INFLUENCE BERLIN, April 3. It is stated authoritatively:— "Germany is now waiting to see whether countries to which Britain has given unilateral guarantees will be willing to make those arrangements bilateral. Wo have every reason to believe that Poland is unwilling to forfeit her power of independent decision or to be drawn into an anti-German bloc. Rumania is even less likely to be so influenced."
