PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB FIXTURE There was again a good attendance for the weekly sports meeting of the Palmerston North Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club at the Sportsgroxind last night. The programme comprised running and cycling events, tabloid spoTts and national dancing and the interest of the spectators was kept at a high pitch.
The officials were as follow: Athletic handicapper and starter, Mr. F. W. Aisher; marshal, Mr. R. Gillespie; judges, Messrs B. Sutherland and Wiggs; timekeepers, Messrs G. Edmonds and J. Robb; cycling handicapper, Mr. P. Hulbert; national dancing judge, Miss B. Evans; national dancing steward, Mr. G. T. Tegg; piper, Mr. M. A. Griffin. Results were as follow:

FAST TIMES AT DUNEDIN H. J. TYRIE’S TRACK RECORD Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Last Night. In a meeting staged by the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night H. J. Tyrie won the 440 yards easily in 50sec., thus establishing a track record for the “Cale” grounds. L. Dickison won the three miles in 14min. 53sec., only a second slower than W. A. C. Pullar’s Otago championship record. In the mile walk the New Zealand champion, R. J. Watson, recorded the brilliant time of 6min. 28sec., only 1 3-5 sec. outside I. Driscoll's New Zealand record.
