Thoso present included tho Minister of Finance (Hon. W. Nash), the Minister of Public Works (Hon. It. Semple), the Minister of Alines (Hon. P. C. Webb), tho Minister of Agriculture (Hon. W. Lee Martin), tho Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers), the Chief of the General Staff; (Major-Gcnoral J. E. Duigan), the Governor of the Reserve Bank (Mr. L. Lefeaux), Sir Thomas Wilford, Sir Jumes Grose (General Manager of the Bank of New Zealand), Air. F. VV. Dawson, the Bishop of Wellington (Rt. Rev. H. St. Barbe Holland), the chairman of tho Wellington Harbour Board (Mr. C. AI. Tune 11), Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., representing the Leader of the Opposition, the president of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association (Hon. W. Perry, AI.L.C.), the president of the Associated Chambers of New Zealand (Air. AI. 8. Myers), the General Atanagcr of Railways (Mr. G. H. Afackley), the president of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association (Mr. C. W. Earle), the nmnaging director of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, Ltd. (Mr. N. S. Falla), the Comptroller of Customs (Air. E. D. Good), the Commissioner of 'Faxes (Air. J. M. Park), tho engineer in chief of tho I’ubiic Works Department (Mr. J. Wood).
