PERSONAL
Messrs. Archie Pim and Fred Meech, of Pongaroa, are on a visit to Motueka. Miss Rone Common, of Masterton, was a visitor to Pahiatua for the weekend. Messrs. F. Ebbett and J. Sargent have returned from a week's fishing at Taupo. Mrs. L. Feilding and Mr. and Mrs. A. Andrews were recent visitors to Mrs. H. Sowry. Mr. and Mrs. Roach, of Hamilton, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Swanney, Kaitawa. Mrs. L. D. Lovelock, Wakeman Street, Pahiatua, is the guest of Mrs. Kent Johnstone, Masterton. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Harvey, of Wellington, have been touring the North Island by car and are at present the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Harvey, Mangatainoka. Messrs. G. and J. Day have gone to Trentham for the rifle competitions, where Mr. Jack Day is amongst the successful competitors. He also secured several good places at the Papawai competitions last Wednesday.
