from Our Own Correspondent A meeting of the Tennis Club committee was held on Monday, there being present Messrs H. Wood (chair). F. Eagle, M. I hillips, W. Bainbridge, Misses C. W. v autier, M. Hodgson and E. Woodd (secretary). The meeting drew the handicaps and partners for tho handicap and championship competitions. Nominations for the singles championship arc asked for. Arrangements were discussed concerning a combined garden party, and a meeting of the Tennis Club and school committee is to bo held. The jubilee finance trust committee met last Tuesday, Mr M. E. Knudsen presiding. Others present were Messrs J. E. Morris, F. Eagle, D. Cress well, A. Crawford, A. Harrowfleld and H. W. Wood (secretary). A statement of accounts was

presented to tho meeting and it was decided to pay over to the hall committee its share of the fund. The contractor has begun work on the hall alterations, which should be completed by the end of the present month.
