Pahiatua Sale
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on tho weekly •*ale held on Tuesday when a good yarding of sheep came forward to a good attendance of buyers. Except for top lambs prices depreciated in value from previous quotations. Ewes were only in moderate demand. Mr. W. Hull, Kohinui, realised 15s 3d for a pen of nhoni wether lambs. Tho Le Leivre Estate, Marima, shorn wether lambs sold out at 15s Sd. These were well grown lambs with condition. Moderate ewe lambs were in good demand and sold up to expectations. Two-tooth wethers were dull of sajo and mostly sold out from 15s to 15s 9d. Quotations: Shorn wether lambs (good), 15s Bd, 15s 3d, 14s 6d. 14s; shorn ewe lambs (medium), 13s 6d, 13s, 12s 6d, 12s; woolly ewe lambs (good), 18s 6d; medium shorn wether lambs, 9s, 9s 3d, 10s; small ewe lambs, 9s, 10s 6d, 11s; 2-th. wethers, 15s, 15s Bd, 16s; 2-th. ewes, to 26s lOd; 4 and 5-year ewes to 16s. Fat dairy cows, £4 15s, £4 ss, £3 ss. B.f. 2-th., 16s, 15s; fat wethers, to 17s
