Sigfried Wreszynski, former Park Lane millionaire, who came into prominence in London in 1934 when he de- • vised a scheme for “thawing" Gerr many's “frozen" credits, lias been gaoled here and will await trial on charges of swindling an Austrian refu - gee girl and a Dutch business man. The London Daily Express says that when Wreszynski lived in London he had three luxury cars, and the walls of his Park Lane apartment were hung with Holbeins and Van Dycks. His wife slept in a Queen Anne bedroom and his guests drank champagne from gold cups and used gold cutlery.
