Proposed British South Atlantic Air Route
LOCKHEED STARTSSURVEY FLIGHT United Preee Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Friday, 12.20 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 29. Surveying the proposed British South Atlantic air route, the British Airways Lockheed 14 yesterday covered the London-Lisbon hop in 4 hours 59 minutes, averaging 20S m.p.h. It goes on to Agadir to-day and thence to Dakar, reaching Bathurst, the capital of Gambia, in West Africa, on December 31.
