From Our Own Correspondent Miss R. Groves, Wellington, is holidaying with her parents, Mr and Mrs A. Grove*. Mr and Mrs J. Letley, and Mr Jack Letley, Petone, were the guests of the former’* niece, Mrs R. Hamilton, for Christmas, prior to leaving on a motor tour of the North Island. Airs A. Shannon, “Mahoe. is holidaying in Christchurch. Mr and Mrs T. Miles are spending New Year week-end •'in Wellington as the guests of their son, Mr T. J. Miles, Newtown. In spite of the uncertainty of the weather, the Onepuhi Sports proved a popular attraction on Boxing Day for many of the local residents. Messrs E. and G. Marshall and J. Marshall, Galatea, are spending the Christmas holidays visiting relatives in the district. Mias D. Marshall has returned home after visiting Mr and Mrs Brew, Kakahi, for the Spenr°—Brew wedding.
