Tho Daily Telegraph’s aviation writer says three land ’planes and airliners aro being constructed by Shorts, two of which are intended to operate at a height of 10,000 ft. with 18 passengers and 30001 b. of mail. They will have a cruising speed of 250 miles an hour. The third is designed for stratosphere flying. It is expected to have a top speed of 300 miles and hour. All will have a formal range of 8000
