Special ’Planes for Passenger Traffic RANGE OF 3000 MILES United Press Association.—By Electrlo Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 11.20 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 28. Tho Daily Telegraph’s aviation writer says three land ’planes and airliners aro being constructed by Shorts, two of which are intended to operate at a height of 10,000 ft. with 18 passengers and 30001 b. of mail. They will have a cruising speed of 250 miles an hour. The third is designed for stratosphere flying. It is expected to have a top speed of 300 miles and hour. All will have a formal range of 8000
