From Our Own CorresDon lent. Young Farmers’ Club. I At the monthly meeting: of the Young Farmers’ Club the question was raised a-: to whether the club would have another meeting this year, but as the omission of the December meeting would mean a big break in the year's programme, it was decided to carry on as usual. This month’s address was given by Mr A. C. Morton, the subject being general sheepfarm management. The lecturer was followed keenly throughout and was accorded a vote of thanks. There was little business discussed at the meeting. A great deal of interest was aroused by a proposed Y.F.C. tour of England and the Continent. It was hoped that the tour could be made available to members at a cost of approximately 11220. An Instructive club day is to be arranged by Tlios. Borthwick and Sons, Fetiding, about the middle of next month. All members should endeavour to be present. On Thursday it was evidenced that keen interest was being taken by Y.F.C. classes at the Show r . Several members entered for the shearing competitions. A meeting of the junior committee was held recently to arrange a final dance in aid of the hall funds. The balance sheet for the previous dance was presented and showed a satisfactory result. It was decided that the final night should take the form of a “back to childhood” .dance on November 16 .
