Aunt Jane’s Letter
DEAR BIG FAMILY, With our Spring Page successfully behind us, it is n,ow high time to be thinking of our Christmas Page. It is never too early to begin sending in Christmassy contributions—original ones if possible. So put on your thinking caps, my dears. The Den had a visit from Jewel, who has been ill f|oir a very long time. Jewel was looking very bright, so I think all those health germs the Happy Family sent her must have done thedr good work. Mr. Weatherman has been a bit undecided lately, hasn’t he? He has been shaking the blossom trees so hard that a carpet of pink and white is spread beneath them and the poor little spring flowers are bowing heir heads sadly in the mischievous winds. The Den wishes to send health germs to all the members of the Big Family who are sick and hopes they will all soon be strong and well again and looking forward to lovely l.ong holidays in the sun. Love to you all, AUNT JANE P.S.: Wasn’t Uncle Ronina clever to draw foar you the pretty spring picture, Cogs?
