The film actress Mary Pickford is hurrying by aeroplane to Columbus (Ohio to the bedside of her husband, Buddy Rogers, who was injured near Deleware, when his motor-car struck a pole and overturned. He suffered a torn ligament in the right arm and bruises. He and the two other occupants of the car were found by a bus driver and taken to hospital.
