Pahiatua Sale
FARMERS' CO-OP. REPORT The New Zealand Farmers* Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report as follow.-, on the Pahiatua weekly sale held on Tuesday:— i A small yarding of sheep, dairy cattle and a good entry of pigs were submitted to a large attendance. Prices for dairy stock wore well maintained, and there seems to be a shortage of good dairy cows. Pigs, also, sold well. |Prices realised:— Springing Jersey heifers (close up;, £9, £8 10s to £S; yearling Jersey heifers, : £4 10s; store cows ex dairy, £3 7s 6d, £3 \ Black-faced hoggets, 19s 9d; store ■ wethers, 18s 8d; store ewes, 7s; weancr > pigs, good 265, 225, 21s 6d, small 17s to 15s Gd.
