r o CAN YOU DO IT? asks Grandpa Kruschen Do you know why some people take obstacles in their stride, while others come a cropper at the first hint of trouble ? The answer’s easy—the go-ahead man and woman make their mark because they feel good. They are regular, healthy, energetic. No poisons left in their system to slow them up! Liver and kidneys working like clockwork. Blood clear, stomach clean. I The ‘little daily dose’ of Kruschen will put you right on the map, too. Just let that Kruschen three-fold action get to tvork on you, and feel the difference. The aperient elements clean out youi bowels. The hepatic elements liven up your liver. The diuretic elements flush your kidneys, keep them busy expelling poisons. Get a 2/3 bottle of Kruschen from your chemist or stores, and begin to enjoy “that Kruschen Feeling” ! KRUSCHEN
“Understand plain English!” demanded tho peppery-looking party with the big horn-rimmed glasses. The tobacconist nodded. He’s used to rum customers. “Very well, then I’ll take half a pound of Cut Plug No. 10. But show me tho tin first. I'm not taking any more chances.” The big tin was duly exhibited. “You see,” he explained, “I asked for Cut Plug No. 10 ot another shop yesterday. But it was bally rubbish the chap handed me. So 1 took it back and tho blighter had the nerve to tell me it was ‘just as good.’ But it was no ruddy good at all. There’s nothing just as good as ‘toast ed’.” Well, it certainly is annoying to be treated like that. Of course, there’s no substitute for toasted. The toasted blends Cut Plug No. 10 (Bullslioad), Cavendish, Navy Cut No. 3 (Bulldog), Riverhead Gold and Desert Gold are in a class by themselves. There’s nothing manufactured at all like them. They’re unique. Remarkably pure too, because the toasting process they undergo at the factory eliminates most of their nicotine.
