Wooderson (Britain) won the 1500 metres in 3min 53 3-ssec, which is some seconds slower than J. E. Lovelock’s world record e£ 3miu 47 4-ssec, which ho is believed to have been attempting to beat. Germany was the most successful country at the meeting winning seven first places. Finland won five and Britain four.
