Suggestion of Visit to Both Sides in Spain
DISCUSSIONS PENDING (British Official Wireless.) Received Tuesday, 6.30 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 5. Lord Plymouth (chairman of the Non-Intervention Committee) returns to London likely he will have discussions with leading members of the chairman’s sub-committee to ascertain the views of their Governments on a suggestion that the secretary of the committee should visit the two sides in Spain with a view to explaining in full the British plan for the withdrawal of volunteers.
