At a meeting of directors of the
./oodville Co-op. Dairy Company Mr. f. A. B. Sinclair was unanimously 'lccted chairman for the ensuing year. Miss J. Anderson, who has rocently uen the guest of Mrs. G, L. B. Whilans, Vogel street, has returned to Wellington. Miss M. H. Patterson has returned to Waihi after spending a holiday with Mr. and Mrs. A. Davidson, Hopelands.
Mr. N. Smith, who for the past two years has been on tho staff of a local firm, left on Saturday to enter the employ of a firm of drapers and clothiers in Foxton. Ilia successor is Mr. D. Vogt. Miss Margaret Mules has returned to Waitara after spending her holidays in W oodville.
Mr. W. C. H. Petterson, the managerelect of the Woodvillo gas works, has arrived in Woodville in xireparatlon for issuming his new duties at tho beginning of next week. Mrs. Petterson and their family are expected to arrive on Saturday.
At a meeting of tho Woodville Volunleer Firo Brigade on Monday evening, Mr. li. Forbes was elected a member.
Mr. J. J. Young has returned recently from a motoring holiday tour of tho East Coast and other parts. Mr. S. P. Skinner leaves for Welling ton to-day for a short visit.
