Cheltenham

From Our Own Correspondent. Basketball Club Dance. The Cheltenham Basketball Club held an enjoyable end of season dance on Thursday night. Music was supplied by Hansen and Price's orchestra and dancing was enjoyed until a late hour. Novelty dances were won by Miss T. Anderson and Mr A. Murray (Gay Gordons), and Miss Pigby-Smith and Mr Henaghan (Monte Carlo waltz). Mrs J. A. Wither was responsible for tho decoration of the supper-tables and stage which were gay with yellow spring flowers. A feature oi the decorations were tho two kewpies dressed in the gold and brown uniforms of the Cheltenham players. Supper was served by the committee, assisted by Mesdames Shannon, Cork ill, Ireland, Branch, hud Wither. The club is to he congratulated on the success of their efforts.
